Oh, Stargate...Really

Your two trailers for Stargate: Universe leave me cold. Are you trying to imitate Battlestar Galactica? Please, don't. Look, from what I've seen of Battlestar , it looks wonderful, but the people that like Stargate like it for different reasons. Even those that do like both shows, appreciate Battlestar for its seriousness and Stargate for its more light-hearted, adventurous qualities. Sure, there's angst in Stargate sometimes, but the overall feeling one gets from both shows is one of fun. Battlestar Galactica may be fascinating, but it certainly is not fun. The previews for Stargate: Universe so far have shown me pretty people who have angst. Please, that's what Battlestar Galactica has. Don't try to imitate it. For one thing, you're not likely to succeed.
